Aaron Cheak, PhD, is a scholar of comparative religion, philosophy, and esotericism. He received his doctorate from the University of Queensland in 2011 for his work on the French Hermetic philosopher, René Schwaller de Lubicz. Former president of the International Jean Gebser Society, Dr. Cheak is author and editor of Alchemical Traditions: From Antiquity to the Avant-Garde. Editor-in-chief at Rubedo Press, he currently resides in Auckland, New Zealand.
